Donating to United Way

There are several ways you can donate to United Way.

• Make a cash donation through Paypal or Credit Card
• Through the eBay Giving Works program
• Donate a vehicle
• Volunteer your time or services
• We're a 501c nonprofit charitable organization, so all donations (even autos and "in kind" volunteer services) are tax deductible.
• Oregon PERS Recipients. If you are a Oregon PERS recipient, you can NOW help change lives in your local community with a credit card or an ACH (bank) transfer donation. It can be a one-time or recurring gift, and you can split your gift among a wide range of charities. Visit www.ipledgeonline.org/_rpe online, register with the system, and then make a gift to United Way of Columbia County, Rainier, Oregon. It's easy, secure, and your gift will continue to have an impact!

Donate your car to United Way for a tax deduction

Do you have a car that is not drivable sitting in your driveway? Do you have a car that requires more investment in repair than it is worth? Before calling the wrecking company or dealing with the hassle of a private sale, consider donating the car to the United Way!

We will handle all of the details for you and your donation is tax deductible. For more information, please go to www.donateforcharity.com. Fill out the online donation form. If United Way of Columbia County is not selected, you may designate us by calling a representative of Donate For Charity at 866-392-4483. After your form is submitted, a Donate For Charity representative will call you back to go over the information and answer any questions you might have.

Volunteer Your Time or Services

Volunteering your time or services to help your community is an excellent way to give and is always appreciated. Call our office for details.

Donations For Ralph Painter's Family

Columbia River Fire and Rescue Volunteers Association is accepting tax exempt donations to assist with the funeral expenses and other unmet needs for the Ralph Painter Family. Donations may be sent to the Columbia River Fire District office at 270 Columbia Blvd., St. Helens, OR 97051. Make checks payable to the Columbia River Fire and Rescue Volunteer Association in memory of Ralph Painter.

The City of Rainier has set up an account for the benefit of Chief Painter’s Family “City of Rainier in Memory of Ralph Painter” at Rainier branch of the Bank of America contributions can be made at any Bank of America branch.
