Ethnic Support Council
The Ethnic Support
Council
is a grassroots organization established in 1989 to work toward meeting
the needs of our growing, diverse community.
The
Ethnic Support Council supports and assists immigrants, refugee, people
with limited English skills, and the agencies and organizations that work
with them by:

Providing
translators, interpreters and mentors to access needed services

Providing forums
for discussion of ethnic and cultural issues

Integrating
different cultures into American society

Educating the
public about cultural diversity
-
Educating service
providers to enable them to better serve minority populations.
