Campaign Kickoff 2010 United Way of Columbia County held its 2010 campaign kick off event on September 3rd 2009 at the Columbia View Park in St. Helens in conjunction with the Michael Allen Harrison concert. 

There was information from representatives of funded organizations, free promotional items for young and old, cookies, apples, and water. 

Thank you to everyone who helped make this a great 4th Annual Kick Off at the River event.

State Senator Betsy Johnson as MC announced the beginning of the campaign and introduced Dawn Mendenhall, United Way of Columbia County President. 

Dawn thanked everyone for their support and encouraged them to participate again this year and announced the goal of $382,010.  The last four digits are a play on the year in which we will be collecting pledges and donations.

This gets our campaign off to a great start with over 10% of our goal of $382,010.00
